The Thomson-East Coast Line T305 project involves the construction of underground Katong Park Station with two entrances, bored tunnels between Katong Park and Tanjong Rhu Station and between Katong Park and Amber Station and two cross passages. Two 6.35m diameter EPB machines are used to construct the bored tunnels.
