Contract CR102 consists of the design and construction of tunnels connecting Aviation Park station to Changi East Depot for Cross Island Line (CRL). STEC undertakes the contract in a joint venture with LT Sambo.

The project includes five shield tunnels, seven connecting passages as well as two sections of open-cut tunnels and a supporting building. The tunnels, constructed with four Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) shield machines, will pass through temporary aircraft taxiways, aviation park roads, canals, drainage pipes and other public infrastructures.

Contract CR102 is a part of the future 50-km Cross Island Line which will be the longest fully underground rail line in Singapore.
